WHAT TO WEAR TO A PROM: YY EVENING PROM DRESSES

Now I love being set a challenge, so when YY Dresses approached me to create a piece around evening dresses, I jumped at the chance... It is prom season after all!

So here I was browsing a website I'd never previously looked at before and I found some amazing pieces. I love it when you're pleasantly surprised sometimes.  I loved my prom dress back in school, mine was a lemon strapless pencil dress from Coast with a black tie round the waist - sounds adorable doesn't it? A lot nicer than all the horrific pink and green tutu dresses a few of my friends had, that would of put some of the My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding brides to shame!

There's so many pretty styles of Quinceanera Dresses, whether you're looking for something all bling or something a little more classic like the one I've picked out here - there's literally something for everyone if you take the time to browse the site.

There's always a risk of ordering online when it comes to evening dresses, but YY Dresses offer a descriptive size chart so when you order be sure to check this out as every order is handmade especially for you, so you can add or change a specific detail if the wish.

If I was to do my prom all over again, I'd opt for a classic white lace piece. Nothing to 'wedding dress' but something I'd love back on in years to come and never regret. Simple. Classic. Delicate.

  2. Wow, cool post. I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real hard work to make a great article… but I put things off too much and never seem to get started. Thanks though.
