BRAND SPOTLIGHT: SIZE? #LADIESTHATLACE LAUNCH

Last week I was invited along to trainer specialist size?'s latest event to celebrate the new womens flagship Manchester store launch and ongoing #LadiesThatLace campaign. Hosted at the Foundation Coffee House in Manchester's Northern Quarter, the event was not one to be missed.

Now what I thought was really cool about the new store launch was the fact size? is known worldwide for delivering exclusive sneakers that are mainly tailored to men. But on August the 8th, size? opened the doors to a bespoke stand-alone womens only trainer and sportswear store. The decor reflects the first store which opened in 2000, hosting an assortment of apparel from Carhartt, Adidas and Stüssy as well as exclusive trainers such as the Reebok such as the Instapump Fury, the store is set to go down a treat for us Northern girls, before the concept is delivered across Europe.

To sit alongside the new store launch size? have created a womens only five part series for the #LadiesThatLace campaign. At the forefront we have the fashion elite including designer Charlie May, freelance stylist Luci Ellis and WAH Nails London Sharmadean Reid. Each film documents how the individuals style up trainers into everyday outfits - true sneaker-mad ambassadors talking to the everyday trainer girl rather than an 'off the shelf' celebrity. Each segment will air on the size? social media channels over the coming weeks, encouraging followers to share their stories using the hasthtag #LadiesThatLace.
