HEALTHY EASY SNACK RECIPE: PROTEIN YOGHURT SLABS

I love a sweet treat as much as the next fitness fanatic, but sometimes it can be quite calorific and they really do affect that waistline! So as we head into the Summer months, I thought I’d try out a new recipe to help you through those hotter days.

Preparation time: 10 mins
Freezing time: 2 hours
Portions: varies

Ingredients:
400g natural live yoghurt – helps with digestion
x2 scoops of protein powder – the Strawberry Milkshakeflavour from PRO Supps
Frozen mixed berries
Fresh raspberries
Desiccated coconut flakes

Utensils:
Greaseproof baking paper
Baking tray
Fork

This is probably one of the simplest recipes to throw together and it literally takes 10 minutes (if that) of prep time!

Take the greaseproof paper and line the baking tray. Blend together the live yoghurt and frozen berries with the two scoops of protein. Once complete pour evenly on to the baking tray.

Taking the fresh raspberries place these throughout the mixture sparingly.

Next take the fork and squish some of the fresh raspberries to make that nice bleeding pattern. Now decorate the mixture in the tray however you’d like.

Finish by sprinkling the desiccated coconut flakes all over the top and top into the freezer for around 2 hours.

Once completely frozen take out of the freezer and smash into uneven treat size bites – or finish the whole thing in one, it’s completely your choice.

The possibilities with this recipe are endless, you could easily swap the berries for alternative fresh fruit or even a scoop of peanut butter if you were feeling adventurous. Let me know which recipes you try out, I'd love to hear you're take on this!

Trust me you’ll never want a Magnum ever again…
